Delete your account & data
Request deletion of your GenArena account (the GenArena app by Digital Platforms Ltd) and the data associated with it. Submit the form using the email address linked to your account.
What happens when you request deletion
- Deleted: your account, profile, uploads and their media files, comments, votes, likes and follows.
- Timeline: your account is deactivated on receipt and data is permanently deleted within 30 days; residual copies leave backups within 90 days.
- Leaderboard history: if you won a past week, that week's result stays on record as an anonymous entry. Your name, handle and picture come off it — we just can't rewrite who won a finished week.
- Retained where required: records we must keep by law (for example safety and abuse-prevention logs) are kept only as long as legally necessary.
- Verification: we may email you to confirm the request came from the account owner before deleting.
